Sigma Chi is a brotherhood with roots in the collegiate experience that engenders a lifelong commitment to strive to achieve true friendship, equal justice and the fulfillment of learning as part of our overall responsibilities to the broader communities in which we live.

Sigma Chi is one of the largest fraternities in North America and has been teaching our values of friendship, justice, and learning at the University of Florida since 1924. At the end of the 2013 fall semester, we were awarded the prestigious title of “IFC Chapter of the Year,” and are excited to carry that momentum into 2014. We hold one of the premier annual philanthropies on campus in Derby Days, and our significant brothers include John Wayne, Mike Ditka, and Luke Bryan.

Our mission is to foster an enduring brotherhood and a lasting legacy on UF’s campus by practicing service, philanthropy, and leadership as expressed in our ritual.
